Carl Church
CIO, Database Architect

Carl Church’s expertise in healthcare analytics has helped him pioneer innovations in population health evaluation that support physicians as well as employers. Over ten years ago, Carl mastered the integration of productivity data (disability, workers comp, and absence) into our database for management and our evaluation work. Several years ago, Carl mastered the art of incorporating health risk assessment information into our population health analysis and into myCatalyst for stratification and to enhance the coaching experience. We have worked with over a dozen health risk assessments mapping them into the system. He has also pioneered physician resources and technical solutions that allow medical practices to monitor and manage their third-party contractual arrangements. His extensive experience working with physician and medical group informatics has allowed Carl to integrate physician claims into our outcomes analyses to complete the model that supports patient centered care coordination between all service providers — including cooperation between competing intervention vendors – as well as patient centered medical homes.

Carl Church is co-owner of myCatalyst with Robin Foust and oversees system developments/enhancements. Carl is a graduate of the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and earned his MBA from Pfeiffer University and brings over 25 years of healthcare experience to the work performed.
