Robin F. Foust, PAHM

Robin Foust is an award-winning health scientist and architect in the field of health and human performance. Robin is the recipient of several leadership awards and recognition for health and financial outcomes achieved by her clients, including as principal designer of programs receiving 2 C. Everett Koop awards for her pioneering work in maternity and condition management, a Leadership Award in the field of Wellness, and awards in the field of Health and Human Performance for getting optimal outcomes. Foust was the first to bring capitation to the field of population health management in the 1980s.
Known for her creative problem solving, Robin was instrumental in developing an information infrastructure that transformed how healthcare management is coordinated and evaluated. Foust is known for turning data analytics into meaningful and actionable reporting with a passion for Local Models of Care (or Clinically Integrated Networks (CIN)) like Medical Home and Accountable Care Networks, Direct to Primary Care (DPC), and Care Coordination. She also pioneered integration of productivity data (Workers’ Comp, Short/Long Term Disability, and Absence) for monitoring and analysis to help achieve best population health and productivity outcomes for employers. Clients attest to the outstanding results they get working with Robin’s firm, exceeding expected return on investment (ROI) and return on outcomes (ROO).
Foust is a degreed Health Educator, with 30+ years in the healthcare field, and is on faculty of the Institute for Healthcare Communication. IHC’s mission is to enhance the quality of healthcare by improving communication between clinician and patient. The Institute trains clinicians to use communication techniques or integration of these techniques into systems of care to facilitate desired behavior change for optimal outcomes in patient satisfaction and health status. With myCatalyst, she leverages her knowledge and expertise in the field of healthcare outcomes to consult with employers, health systems, providers, and clinically integrated networks on population health & productivity management. Foust is known for data management and technology solutions, leveraging data for meaningful evaluation, analytics, and reporting. Foust’s solutions help guide clients to achieve the best healthcare and financial results for populations served — one individual at a time.
Robin is a published thought leader in healthcare, and a highly rated speaker on various healthcare topics. Kimberly Carswell, BS, MPH (Epidemiologist)

Kimberly has been with myCatalyst for over a decade. She and her team work out data transmission processes, run automated diagnostics on the data, remediate it to ensure accuracy, update databases on a timely basis, and set up interfaces with data sources to ensure timely and accurate receipt and pick up of the data. If/when issues are discovered with data they work with the data sources to remedy them. Carswell is also a skilled data analyst for myCatalyst and we are fortunate to have someone of her caliber and experience on staff.
Before joining the myCatalyst team, Kimberly’s work history includes: Virginia Department of Health, Richmond, VA (10/95 to 9/02). Kimberly worked for the Office of Family Health Services, Multicultural Health Task Force and The Division of Chronic Disease Prevention. Carswell was also a Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Epidemiologist with the Office of Family Health Services, where she was responsible for coordination of the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System. She provided leadership for OFHS’ data task team assigned with developing the capacity to meet customers’ needs for accurate, reliable, timely and relevant public health information and assure its use for decision-making. She also coordinated and consulted on research design and analysis and represented OFHS data to the public.
As Statistical Analyst Senior with the Office of Family Health Services, Kimberly performed statistical analysis on morbidity, mortality and other appropriate data associated with chronic disease and with the MCH population. She developed surveillance tools and conducted follow up evaluation on them, assisted in the development of statewide control plans based on the results of data analyses, and coordinated the use of BRFSS data in relation to program needs.
As Statistical Analyst for the STD/AIDS Division, Carswell was responsible for analysis of morbidity, mortality and other data associated with HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted diseases and conducted special research involving HIV/AIDS data. She designed and ran computer programs to extract data from HARS and other databases, responded to requests for data within and outside of the Division, provided technical assistance regarding the appropriate interpretation of data, and prepared written narratives, tables, charts and/or graphs necessary to effectively present data in published format.

Bo Foust
VP of Operations, Account Management, Privacy Officer
Bo Foust has over 15 years of experience in project and data management. Bo transitioned his experience securing and managing bids, as well as implementation of large multi-million-dollar construction projects into doing the same for myCatalyst (MCI). Bo manages MCI clients once the work is under contract, overseeing all the work and workers to get the job done right. In addition to assisting the data team, Bo is the first contact myCatalyst clients and users work with to resolve any questions or give help they need. Foust handles help requests directly with clients and users, or through the myCatalyst Help Desk — accessed via phone or email. Foust takes responsibility for ensuring any client issues are resolved by him or handled expeditiously by triaging to the best resource among the myCatalyst team.
Bo takes initial information and assists in ensuring a smooth implementation process from setting up individual client data base specifications, maintaining and updating the content database manager; and setting up and/or facilitating regular client update meetings, whether for employers, payers, or providers.
Multi-talented, Foust handles day-to-day operations, onboarding new clients, serving as the client advocate, managing data and data sources including initial and ongoing transmission of the data, report mechanic, report scheduler, and serves as comptroller for MCI.
Lee Taylor

Lee is a graduate of the University Of North Carolina @ Charlotte with a BS degree in computer science and has over 20 years’ experience in the IT field. Lee has provided services to Duke Energy, IBM, Alcoa, Alcan, and many others. In addition to other healthcare applications Lee developed before coming to work for myCatalyst, Lee also helped us build a physician financial surveillance system many of our physician clients use. Lee is responsible for maintaining the myCatalyst IT infrastructure as well as myCatalyst application and tool development.
Jennifer Sparks

myCatalyst met Jennifer when she was a Care Coordinator for Preferred Health Services, a Clinically Integrated Network that used MCI’s utilities and services including our electronic Care Coordination and Referral Management Utilities. Impressed with her knowledge and approach to performing the work, we were pleased Jennifer joined the MCI team in 2016.
Jennifer was formerly a marketing director with a Fortune 500 company, where she was responsible for marketing research, campaign development, implementation, and analysis in local markets. She has extensive experience in project management, event planning, writing, advertising, public relations, and social media management.
Sparks serves as our Director of Training & Communications. In this role she facilitates client training on our platforms, increases brand awareness, and contributes to sales and retention of current clients. She is also a skilled analyst.
Elaine Jenkins Griffin

Elaine’s career centers around Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management, Coding, and Disease Management. Over the last 30 years, she has worked with large academic institutions, start ups, and smaller organizations, which have allowed her to develop diverse ways to accomplish large and small tasks at all levels. She is passionate about creative problem solving and loves helping others who cannot help themselves. Elaine is a native of San Francisco California and has two amazing sons.
Ginny Oliver, MBA
Consultant
Ginny’s area of expertise is in data mining and implementation, cost management analysis and financial reporting for employer health and welfare plans. She specializes in translating analytical data into actionable reporting that enables organizations to meet cost goals and strategic health plan objectives.
Prior to joining myCatalyst she was the Managing Director at Oliver Healthcare Consulting providing analytical services to large, multi-state primarily self-funded employers including telecommunication, financial, and aerospace manufacturing. Before that she was employed by Springs Global, Inc., a manufacturer of home furnishings, where she held positions both as a Systems Analyst and Senior Health and Welfare Analyst.
She has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Winthrop University and has published articles in Employee Benefit Plan Review and World at Work Journal as well as spoken at national conferences.
Stephen Zeger, CMA, MBA
Lead Provider Analyst CIN/ACO/MA
Stephen serves as a Lead Analyst in the Managed Care space with Provider and Health Plan clients. Before joining myCatalyst, Mr. Zeger was an Executive Vice President of Operations for MCO and ACO products with Precedent Health for over 10 years. His prior work experience includes owner of joint venture companies in the Medicare Advantage space, including Executive Manager of several MA Plans and the development of a successful HCC risk score data management company. He has significant experience with the new CMS and CMMI value-based care initiatives including the development of multiple ACO markets, the introduction of bundled care programs (BPCI and CJR) in over twenty markets and the resultant strategic management for these programs. In addition, he also is a founder of an institutional special needs company focused on provider solutions and management for long-term acre Medicare Advantage clients.
Mr. Zeger has worked in the insurance and managed care industry for over 30 years as a senior level executive in finance, medical and provider management, marketing, sales, and operational positions with Kaiser Health Plans, Humana, PacifiCare, Heritage Health Systems and SelectCare. In his current position, he has worked extensively with the development and implementation of Accountable Care Organizations and Bundled Care initiatives. He led the start-up of ACOs using both the Pioneer and MSSP models. Zeger has worked on strategies for Payers to develop collaborative partnerships with providers to prepare for the introduction of value-based care initiatives. These strategies included the building of MSO services platforms to facilitate risk contracting with providers and downstream ancillary services. A product of this solution has been the development of narrow networks that help Payers differentiate their products for exchanges.
